How to Maximize your Google Android battery life by wholesaleeshop.com.au

How to Maximize your Google Android battery life by wholesaleeshop.com.au

Thankfully, with planning and insight, you can maximize your Google Android battery life. Follow these tips and tricks to get the most out of your Google Android device from wholesaleeshop.com.au.
Manage Android Wireless Radio Options Wisely
The majority of new Google Android smartphones and tablets pack a variety of wireless radios: a cellular radio for mobile network connectivity; a Wi-Fi radio; GPS; and Bluetooth; etc. And all of these radios can--and will--drastically reduce your Android battery(Dell gd761 battery) life if not used and managed wisely.
You should turn off all wireless radios when you're not using them. When you leave home and go out of range of your personal Wi-Fi network, turn off Wi-Fi so it doesn't constantly attempt to detect or connect to other networks. And when you're done using that Bluetooth headset, switch off Bluetooth. The same goes for GPS.
Some location-based applications and services require that you activate your GPS to function properly. But some of them also constantly attempt to pinpoint your location, even when they're not in use, by contacting the closest nearby satellites or cell towers and draining your precious battery life in the process.

To disable wireless radio options, open your Android Settings, click Wireless & networks, and "un-check" the boxes next to the radio-options you're not currently using. To turn off GPS, open the Location & security settings page within Android Settings, and remove the check from the box next to Use GPS Satellites.

It's also a good idea, from a Dell latitude d830 battery -life- and security-perspective, to turn off any mobile hotspot services your device may offer when they're not in use. You can turn mobile hotspot on and off within the Android Settings menu.
Many Android devices let you create home screen widgets for each wireless radio so you don't need to dig through your settings every time you want to turn them on or off.
Conserve Android Battery by Minimizing Screen Brightness, Timeout
As a general rule of thumb, the brighter your Android screen, the higher the drain on your battery. Some types of displays are more energy efficient than others, but it's still a good idea to reduce your screen brightness to the lowest comfortable level to conserve power. And you can also reduce the time it takes for your display to power itself down when not in use to maximize Dell kd476 battery life.
To reduce your screen brightness, open up your Android Settings menu, click Display. Depending on your Android OS version, you may see an option for Automatic Brightness. This setting automatically dims or brightens your display based on the surrounding light levels. But it can drain the battery by randomly increasing screen brightness.
Uncheck the Automatic Brightness option to manually increase or decrease your screen brightness, and then find the lowest setting that will work for you.
To shorten your screen-timeout, open the Screen timeout menu within your Android Settings, and choose one of the lowest values.
Reduce Unnecessary Notifications to Save Android Battery
Do you use an audible alert or vibration--or both--to notify you of new text messages, e-mail, Twitter "tweets," etc? If so, you should know that you're slowly eating away at your Android battery life with each chirp or buzz.
It's okay to use some notifications, and they can be very valuable when used efficiently. But the problem comes when you excessively employ various types of notifications when they're not really providing any value.
In general, vibrations use slightly more power than audible alerts, so first, reduce any unnecessary vibration-alerts to maximize your Android battery life. To do so, open up the Sound settings in your Android Settings menu. Under General, click to open the Vibrate options and choose a setting that reduces your vibration-alerts, such as Never, Only in Silent Mode or Only When Not in Silent Mode.
In the same General settings menu, you have the option to reduce your ringtone, media and alarm volumes. Doing so will increase battery life since every sound that goes through your device's speaker drains valuable power. Just click Volume and reduce each option to the lowest setting you feel comfortable with.
How to Improve the Battery Life on Your Android Phone
Depending on your Android OS, you may also see some options on the Sound Settings page to enable/disable audible touch tones, audible selections, screen-lock sounds, etc. Turning off any or all of these options will also help conserve Android battery(Dell inspiron 9400 battery).
Finally, you can reduce unneeded vibrations by disabling any keyboard feedback option you may have activated. Some types of keyboards have different feedback-options, but typically you can disable sounds and vibrations by opening up the Android Settings menu, then clicking Language & keyboard. Next, open up your specific keyboard settings and uncheck the boxes next to Vibrate on keypress and Sound on keypress.
Keep Android Battery Connections Clean
Over time, the battery connections within your device can gather dust and other particles and impede the transfer of power to your hardware. Every few months, it's a good idea to remove your battery and wipe clean the small sections of metal through which battery power is transferred, as well as the metal prongs inside your device's battery slot that connect to the power supply.
Those prongs are delicate, however, so you should be very careful cleaning them. Q Tips and cleansing wipes made specifically for electronic gadgets work well, though they can leave residue, so you should ensure both surfaces are clear before replacing your battery.
Finally, your battery will become less efficient over time, so it is occasionally necessary to buy a new one. If your battery is a year or older, and you've determined that its poor performance can't be attributed to a weak cellular connection, a power-hogging app or a similar issue, you may need to replace it.

Apple Confirms iPad 2 Available Online Tonight

Apple Confirms iPad 2 Available Online Tonight bywww.wholesaleeshop.com.au

The iPad 2 goes on sale Friday, March 11 at most all Apple stores. If you want to avoid the lines you might try buying your iPad 2 from Best Buy, Walmart or Target, as they will all be selling the new tablet.
Online buyers can order an iPad 2 from Apple or AT&T starting at 4 a.m. ET Friday. Retails sales begin at 5 p.m. local time.
As of tomorrow 5pm you will be able to buy the iPad 2 in several locations, including of course the Apple Store. For those of you who don’t want to wait in line, Apple will allow for iPad 2 orders online as of 1am PST.
I need 3 iPads so here is my strategy: I’ll set my alarm clock at 1am and order 2 iPads, one white, one black. These 2 iPads are gifts for my mother and mother in law.
I’ll go to the Apple Store Friday before 5pm and get the line. As soon as I get inside the store, I will check out the 2 colors and decide whether I want to go with white or black. Historically, I’ve always chose black products, but I have to admit the white iPad 2 looks gorgeous.
Unless you’re an Apple fanatic like me, I believe the best solution for you is to order online. Sure you won’t get instant gratification, but Apple said they will ship online orders fast. That means that you could get your new iPad as early as Saturday, or, worst case scenario, on Monday.
So, what are you going to do?
Apple has issued a press release today confirming some of the details of tomorrow’s iPad 2 launch, including the times the iPad 2 will go on sale online and in retail outlets:
Apple® today announced that iPad™ 2, the next generation of its magical device for browsing the web, reading and sending email, enjoying photos, watching videos, listening to music, playing games, reading ebooks and much more, will be available tomorrow at 5 p.m. local time at all 236 Apple retail stores in the US and through the Apple Store®  beginning at 1 a.m. PT. Every customer who buys an iPad 2 at an Apple retail store will be offered free Personal Setup service, helping them customize their iPad 2 by setting up email, loading new apps from the App Store℠ and more, so they’ll be up and running with their new iPad 2 before they leave the store. iPad 2 will also be available beginning at 5 p.m. local time at AT&T, Best Buy, Target, Verizon Wireless, Walmart and select Apple Authorized Resellers.
They also offered a reminder on iPad 2 model pricing in the US:
iPad 2 with Wi-Fi will be available in the US on March 11 for a suggested retail price of $499 for the 16GB model, $599 for the 32GB model, $699 for the 64GB model. iPad 2 with Wi-Fi + 3G will be available for a suggested retail price of $629 for the 16GB model, $729 for the 32GB model and $829 for the 64GB model. iPad 2 with Wi-Fi + 3G compatible with the Verizon network will be available in the US only for a suggested retail price of $629 for the 16GB model, $729 for the 32GB model and $829 for the 64GB model.

Best 5 Pink laptops for Apple,Dell,HP,Asus&Sony

Well The Uni year is over and so is the school term, so in anticipation of the new academic year coming this September we’re looking at what’s out there for our younger customers. Let’s remember that not all of us are gamers or professionals and are just leisurely laptop users with a special affinity for different colours.
5. Dell Mini 10 Inspiron
The Pink Mini 10 netbook launched by Dell is a fairly standard machine. It has an Atom processor that runs Windows 7 and features a meagre GB DDR 2 RAM. It does have a good amount of Hard Drive space with up to 250 GB and an integrated graphics card.
More importantly though is it’s appearance. It’s really nice, really small and kinda cute. It has a very glossy 10.1 inch LCD display and fits nicely in any bag. Also, with built in Wi-Fi, it’s perfect to carry around.
4. Sony VAIO VPC-EA1S1E and NW20 Series
pinkvaio Top 5 Pink laptops Apple, Asus, Dell, HP & Sony laptops at laptopshop.co.uk
Sony are another manufacturer who include a pink option throughout the laptop and netbook range. Sony VAIO laptops are renowned for offering high performance, quality and reliability; and, in terms of price, offer great value in comparison to some other computer brands.
Sony are a manufacturer that seem to always include a pink alternative to their netbook range. Their Sony VAIO laptops are always of a high spec, quality and are always reliable.
The new 14 inch VPC-EA1S1E Sony laptop notebook from Sony with a massive 4GB of RAM and 500GB Disc Drive looks great and out performs most laptops in its class. The Sony has an Intel Core 2.13GHz processor and dedicated ATI graphics card (512Mb)- coupled with an LED 16:9 display this makes it ideal for watching movies as well as being an ideal everyday laptop for home or work.
There’s also the Sony VAIO NW20 Series Laptop. This is Windows 7 enabled and features a smooth patterned casing with smooth edges which has been designed to be easily carried around.
It also has a T6600 processor, 320 GB HDD and 4GB of RAM!
Easily the most powerful windows laptop in this list.
3. HP Mini 110-1150SA Pink Netbook
pinkhp Top 5 Pink laptops Apple, Asus, Dell, HP & Sony laptops at laptopshop.co.uk
This 10.1 inch netbook is part of a long line of netbooks to pack an Intel Atom processor, but unlike most netbooks this comes with Windows 7 as it’s default operating system. Other specs are a 160GB hard-drive, 1GB of ram and an almost full size keyboard. The standard web-cam, microphone and webcam are also built in.
as a netbook, it’s fairly standard, as A pink laptop, it’s pretty damn cool. It’s light and once again very portable, slips into a school bag or hand bag very nicely.
2. Asus Eee PC Disney 9 inch Children’s Netbook
pinkasus Top 5 Pink laptops Apple, Asus, Dell, HP & Sony laptops at laptopshop.co.uk
This is a shameless Disney branded laptop that all children will love. It’s based upon the ASUS Eee PC netbook and is packed to the rafters with entertaining and educational software.
Designed specifically for children, it features lots of innovative features including an extra tough rugged design, plus shock proof hard-drive and parental control.
Asus have played it safe by opting to go with Windows XP as the OS. I assume they don’t trust Vista and don’t want to risk it with the uncharted windows 7.
The price is around £270, which isn’t too bad for a netbook these days. Your kids will absolutely love this.
It’s second because it’s perfect for the market, I can’t think of any child that wouldn’t love this. Boy or Girl. It’s clever, it’s cute, it’s educational, it’s fun, it’s a good price and it’s number 2.
1. Apple MacBook, MackBook Pro and iPad
Ok, this is a bit of a cheat as Apple haven’t actually officially released these products, however there is a company called ‘colorware’ that will make these modifications for you.
Colorware can and will customise almost most laptops or electrical products you can think of. The beauty of their service is that you can go online and play around with their system which will preview what your laptop(Apple a1185 battery) will look like. Simply send in your existing MacBook and they’ll customise it to your perfect shade of pink.
Alternatively you can purchase the laptop fully customised directly from them. Either way it’s pretty damn cool.
So that’s our winner, mainly ‘cus they just make those Macs look so damn good. Even if you don’t like the colour pink, you’ve got to like what they do to those Apple machines.

Battery Care:Keep Volt Battery at Ideal Temperature

Engineers of the four-seat Chevrolet Volt electric car often refer to its 435-pound battery pack as the fifth passenger. Given the care taken to keep the pack at just the right temperature in all temperature conditions, there is a lot of truth to that.
The Volt's ability to operate gasoline-free on a day-to-day basis and carry an eight-year/100,000-mile battery warranty is due to active thermal management of the advanced Hp dv9000 battery pack.
"Every battery has a temperature sweet spot where it provides the optimal blend of power output, energy capacity and long life and we keep the Volt right on that target," said Bill Wallace, General Motors director of Global Battery Systems.  Batteries that are too cold are reluctant to release electrons while batteries that run too hot can see a significantly shorter life.
The Volt's T-shaped battery pack consists of 288 individual cells arranged into nine modules. Plastic frames hold pairs of lithium-ion cells that sandwich an aluminum cooling fin. The design and construction of that aluminum plate is critical to ensuring an even temperature distribution with no hot or cool spots across the flat, rectangular cell. The battery pack has its own cooling circuit that is similar to, but independent from, the engine cooling system.
The Dana Corp-manufactured cooling fin consists of two lightweight aluminum plates joined by a proprietary clean nickel-brazing process. The carefully designed grooves stamped into the plates form channels that allow battery coolant that is pumped through the pack to flow over the entire cell surface.
"Three different systems are used to regulate the temperature of the coolant," said Wallace. "When the Volt is plugged in and charging in cold weather, an electric heater at the front of the battery pack is used to warm the coolant and pre-heat the battery. During normal operations, the coolant is passed through a heat exchanger at the front of the car, while a chiller in the air conditioning circuit can be used to dissipate heat from the battery when temperatures really climb."
The management system monitors feedback from 16 thermal sensors arranged throughout the battery pack to maintain a spread of no more than 2 degrees centigrade from the optimal temperature across the pack.
Getting the battery temperature just right was a product of lessons learned from the EV1 and 15 years of testing fuel cell stacks. GM engineers and researchers learned a lot about how to circulate coolant to maintain an even temperature distribution. Those learnings went straight into the cooling system of the Volt battery.

Four valuable yet hard-to-find settings For Your Facebook

1. Facebook check-ins and privacy

When Facebook announced its location-based check-in service, “Places,” in August 2010, it was quickly met with concerns about its people tagging feature.
With this feature enabled, your Facebook friends can tag you and “check you in” to a place. You receive a notification when you’re tagged, and an update is posted on your wall telling your friends where you are and who you’re with. You can remove the tag at any time.
To disable the feature, visit Account -> Privacy Settings -> Customize Settings. Scroll to the middle section—“things others share”—and click “Edit settings” next to “Friends can check me in to Places.”
Another important Facebook privacy setting to review if you use Places is whether or not you want to be included in a “People Here Now” list once you check in to a location.
By default, your name and Facebook profile picture appear in the list, which is visible to anyone—friend or not—who checks in to the same location. To disable this setting, visit Account -> Privacy Settings- > Customize Settings, and then uncheck the box at the bottom of the first section that reads, “Include me in ‘People Here Now’ after I check in.”

2. Revoking Facebook’s “Instant Personalization”

“Instant Personalization” debuted in April 2010 to plenty of criticism, and for good reason: The feature is confusing and Facebook’s online explanation does not make it clear how participating sites use your information.
If you visit one of the sites that supports Instant personalization—Bing, TripAdvisor, Rotten Tomatoes, Pandora, Yelp and others—and you’ve enabled the feature, you can see which of your friends have “liked” certain movies or news stories and browse reviews they posted. Additionally, Instant Personalization uses information you made public on your profile to recommend movies or songs, for example.

The first time you visit a site that supports Facebook Instant Personalization, a notification message appears that lets you turn off the feature, if you want.Welcome to wholesaleeshop.com.auWholesaleeShop.com.au Works with "Super Quality, Satisfactory Services"

wholesale high quality Touch Screen LCD MonitorsLaptop ComputersLaptop BatteriesLCD MonitorsUSB MonitorsON-Camera Field HD MonitorsCool Accessories for eBay sellers, distributors, store owners, retailers, drop shippers and small wholesalers at competitive prices.
Otherwise, to enable or disable Instant Personalization, you should visit your Facebook Privacy Settings page, then choose “Edit your settings” under “Apps and Websites” at the bottom. Scroll to the bottom, click “Edit Settings” next to “Instant personalization” and uncheck the box on the next page.

3. Facebook’s social ads and privacy

You might occasionally notice ads in the margins of your Facebook profile and elsewhere on the site. These “social ads” pair an advertisement with actions your friends have taken, such as liking a Page.
A few important things to understand about social ads: Advertisers can’t see information about you or your friends, nor do they have access to your private information. Facebook doesn’t sell your information to advertisers and says it won’t in the future.
If you participate in social ads, your friends might see information about you that relates to the ads they’re seeing. This may be a line that says you have “liked” a certain page, or they could include your profile photo with your name next to the ad. Here’s how to opt-out of social ads displaying your “likes.”
Once again, visit your Account Settings and click the “Facebook Ads” tab. From the drop-down menu, choose either “No one” or “Only my friends,” depending on your preference.
Note: A disclaimer on this settings page explains that while Facebook does not give third-party applications or ad networks the right to use your name or picture in ads, “If this is allowed in the future, this setting will govern the usage of your information.” So if you don’t ever want your picture being used as an advertisement, ensure this setting is up to date.

4. Information accessible through your friends

With all the time spent trying to shore up the privacy and security of your own Facebook profile, there’s an important setting you need to remember to update to help ensure that your friends don’t expose information about you.
Dell gd761Dell gd761 Battery 7800mAh, AU $93.66
When your Facebook friends use games and applications, those appls can request information about other friends—i.e. you—even if you don’ t use the app. This information can include your bio, photos, political views and places you check-in to.
To prevent this, visit Account -> Privacy Settings => Apps and Websites. Click “Edit Settings” next to “Info accessible through your friends” and uncheck any necessary boxes.
Note that while you can prevent your friends’ applications from accessing most of your information, your name, profile picture, gender, networks and user ID (along with any other information you’ve set to “Everyone”) can be accessed by Facebook apps. The only way to ensure all your information is private is by turning off “platform applications and websites.”
