Acer Aspire 5551G-4591 - Notebook Review

Acer laptop from wholesaleeshop.com.au
I love small laptops as much as the next guy. The reality of laptops, however, is that most people don’t end up buying cool, slim systems. Instead they buy larger laptops with 15.6” displays. Although large and somewhat clunky, these laptops offer a lot of power at a low price. They’re portable enough to tote around a house or apartment, as well – which is the most many users will ever ask their laptop to do.
The Acer Aspire 5551G-4591 doesn’t pack any surprises. It is the definition of a mainstream 15.6” laptop, which means that it will probably appeal to many readers. However, the laptop steps into a market that contains fierce competition. Does the Acer Aspire 5551G-4591 find a way to stand out from the crowd? Well, have a look for yourself.
If you read a lot of laptop reviews you may find these specifications to be familiar. That’s because they’re similar to the specifications of a number of Acer models both past and present, including both 15.6” laptops and some 17.3” models.
This familiarity isn’t a bad thing, however. Acer has consistently offered laptops with Mobility Radeon HD 5650 discrete graphics at very low prices, making budget laptop gaming a possibility. The Intel powered AS5740G-6979, for example, was one of the best inexpensive gaming laptops available earlier this year (it now appears to be discontinued).Acer laptop by wholesaleeshop.com.au
So, the Acer Aspire AS5551G-4591 we’re looking at today isn’t exactly a brand new design. The main difference between this and the earlier AS5740G is the processor, which is an AMD Turion II instead of Intel’s Core i3. Let’s take a look at what this change means for performance – and how Acer’s overall design competes with other laptops currently available.

Guide Helps One Laptop Per Child Heighten Battery Life

Guide Helps One Laptop Per Child Heighten Battery Life
- http://www.wholesaleeshop.com.au
XO v1.75 from wholesaleeshop.com.auThe One Laptop Per Child's (OLPC) $100 notebook goal is nearing fruition  as its newest XO convertible tablet version 1.75 will cost $165 compared  to the original $199 XO. The decrease in price is thanks mainly to the  Marvell ARM processor inside.
Developing worlds and electronics have a tough time getting along due to  lack of power outlets, and while OLPC provides a manual crank to  recharge its XO laptops, the task takes hours to fully charge the battery. Version 1.75 switches from an x86 to ARM architecture - specifically a 1GHz Marvell Armada 610 - and that cut power consumption in half, so the XO draws 2 watts of power rather than 4 watts.
The XO 1.75's 8.9-inch screen will also be touch-capable; the screen swings around to convert into a tablet. wholesaleeshop.com.au has speculated that since the base is left with room for a keyboard and battery, this might mean the updated laptop will ship with a larger laptop battery. OLPC's chief technology officer, Edward McNierey, also talked to Gearlog at CES about XO devices running future versions of Windows.
While OLPC has yet to hit its $100 price point, the company moves $34 closer to its goal. The XO-1.75 tablet is set to ship in Q2 of this year.

How to Turn an iPhone Into a Wireless iPad Camera

How to Turn an iPhone Into a Wireless iPad Camera
- http://www.wholesaleeshop.com.au
The iPad doesn't have a built-in camera, but you can give it something better. By putting an app onto each an iPad and an iPhone, you can connect the two via bluetooth and have a wireless camera for your iPad.Welcome to wholesaleeshop.com.auWholesaleeShop.com.au wholesale high quality Touch Screen LCD MonitorsLaptop ComputersLaptop BatteriesLCD MonitorsUSB MonitorsON-Camera Field HD MonitorsCool Accessories for eBay sellers, distributors, store owners, retailers, drop shippers and small wholesalers at competitive prices.
All you need to do is download the Camera A and Camera B apps onto your iPad and iPhone respectively—note that Camera A will set you back a buck while Camera B is free. Once you've got the apps on your devices, make sure bluetooth is switched on, and open the apps. Ta da! You'll see everything your iPhone's lens sees on your iPad.
To take a picture you'll tap the camera icon at the bottom of your iPad's screen. A pop up prompt will ask you if you really want to save the photo and that's it, you're done. Oh, and if you want photos to save to both your iPhone and your iPad each time,
then you can flip the little toggle switch in the lower right of the screen:

How does this witchcraft work? Based on the fact that I just saw my iPhone lock screen twice moments ago, I'd say that the apps are allowing your iPad to mirror your iPhone's display. I guess that means that you could also use this app setup to truly turn your iPad into a gigantic iPhone.

Dell Laptop Error - Laptop Battery Not Compatible

Dell Laptop Error - Laptop Battery Not Compatible
On some dell model laptops there has been a utility pre-installed called dell ISB, which prevents the laptop from using a third-party laptop battery. To remove the dell ISB utility follow these directions:dell laptop from wholesaleeshop.com.au
  • First remove the battery from the laptop and power on the system with just the ac adapter.
  • From either the Start menu or command prompt run MSCONFIG.exe
  • On Vista machines, Windows will prompt you for permission to continue
  • In the System Configuration window, click the "Startup" tab and find the item containing "ISBMgr.exe"
  • Uncheck the box for the "ISBMgr.exe"
  • Click "Ok" to save and accept the changes and restart the laptop
You may be prompted on restart that Windows is running in selective mode. Just uncheck the  notification option on bottom right,
.dell laptop battery from wholesaleeshop.com.au
This will remove the software check that dell has placed on laptops to prevent third-party laptop batteries from being used and allow you to use a non-dell laptop battery. If you perform a dell software update, you may need to repeat this procedure.
Some dell laptops have a hardware laptop battery lock which will prevent a third-party notebook battery from being used. We do have patches for certain models below. If your model is not listed, then there is no "fix" to get around the hardware lock and you will have to buy a genuine dell brandlaptop battery.
NOTE: BIOS updates should be performed with caution. To eliminate the possibility of other programs interfering with the update, shut down all other applications prior to running the BIOS update program. The update program will reboot on its own. Do not, under any circumstances, turn off the laptop or remove the ac adapter while update is installing. Doing so may cause the computer to become inoperable requiring repair.

A nonprofit called the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation maintains

How to Recycle Nickel Cadmium Rechargeable Hp Batteries - http://www.wholesaleeshop.com.au
One of the troublesome parts of home organization for many families is keeping track of the obsolete or discarded electronics and related gear that tend to clutter the house over time. Home electronics now often include rechargeable batteries, many of them of a Nickel-Cadmium (Ni-Cd) design. Old cell phones, computers, stereo equipment and other battery-powered items that end up as "junk" should be sorted and disposed of properly to avoid some serious kinds of environmental contamination. Some simple steps will help you to recycle nickel-cadmium  rechargeable batteries the right way.BLUE SKY from wholesaleeshop.com.au
1.Check manufacturer labels. From the large  batteries installed in electric or hybrid cars, to  the smallest iPod or device batteries,  manufacturers often include helpful information  about how to recycle the batteries that are used  in the electronic devices, as well as the devices  themselves. Find any relevant information and use it to your advantage when you're looking at sending rechargeable batteries where they need to go.
2.Look at state and federal policies on battery disposal. Understanding the rules in your state might help you find legitimate recycling centers for your household electronics and batteries.
3.Use government resources. Some government agencies provide additional information on how to recycle your used batteries and electronics according to the the "best current practices" encouraged by oversight organizations.

4.Find joint recycling centers. A nonprofit called the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation maintains a list of regional recycling centers that you can use to get rid of rechargeable batteries without adding additional heavy metals and chemicals to landfills. These centers often accept Nickel Cadmium batteries as well as other kinds like Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) and Lithium-Ion (Li-ion), making them a one-stop shop for disposing of your used batteries. They may also take the old "lead" type batteries that are also harmful if disposed of improperly.
5.Figure out a collection strategy. Although you may need to drive batteries to the joint recycling center yourself, some additional research might help you find or even start neighborhood programs or other options for efficient battery recycling. Some retailers also might be willing to help. Doing your part will help promote a cleaner, brighter future for the planet and everyone who lives on it.

Mac OS X and iOS ships with built-in features to help keep prying eyes away from your personal files

How to Keeping your Mac, iPhone and Data Safe
Apple has done a pretty good job of making sure your Mac, iPhone, iPod touch and iPad are safefrom remote hackers, and Mac OS X and iOS ships with built-in features to help keep prying eyes away from your personal files. Knowing how to use those tools, and what to do if your gear is lost or stolen, however, is up to you.

The best way to make sure your files and equipment are safe is to never let either slip out of your physical control. Anyone that can get to your computer or iOS device has a much higher likelihood of being able to look at or copy documents, or even walk away with expensive gear.
aving your computer, iPhone or iPad unattended even for a minute — like to run back up to the counter at your favorite coffee shop — is plenty of time for your expensive and potentially irreplaceable equipment to walk off never to be seen again.
