Top 8 Steps Fix iPhone 3G Screen

Guide to Fix an iPhone 3G Screen - http://www.wholesaleeshop.com.au
  • Wear applicable protective safety gear, such as safety glasses, a breathing mask and/or respirator, gloves or protective clothing.
  • Where applicable, fire-extinguishers, adequate ventilation and a non-flammable environment are worthwhile precautions for anything that poses a risk of smoke or fire.
  • Activities and projects, that pose a risk to one's safety, should only be performed by an adult or under adult supervision.

  • A  Phillips screwdriver
  • A razor blade, or other wedging and scraping tool
  • Rubbing alcohol and Q-tips, and/or a hair dryer or heat gun
  • Double-sided tape and scissors, or superglue
  • Optional: A small suction cup
  • Optional: Tweezers
You, like many people, have broken your iPhone screen! These steps and video will show you how to fix it yourself. Read entire guide before beginning the process.
1.Backup your iPhone! Connect it to your computer, browse to your iPhone in iTunes, and click "Sync."
2.Gather all of the tools you will need. All these materials can be bought online in packages. A simple Google search, "iPhone screen repair kit", will produce you many results to choose from. Also, stores such as Zellers and Wal-Mart carry all the materials except for the screen. Ordering the materials offline will ensure that you get the correct size and type if you are uncertain. Here is what you need:
3.Look at the bottom of your iPhone (the side with thehome button) and locate the 2 screws on either side of the USB connector. Use a  Phillips screwdriver to unscrew both of these. (Note that you don't need to remove the SIM card in order to open the phone, as mentioned elsewhere on the web.)
4.Remove the screen using one of these methods:
Use a wedging or scraping tool. A razor blade works well. Put the razor blade between the rubber and metal and lift the screen. The screen will still be attached to the iPhone so be sure to read the next step to be prepared.
5.Look for flaps in the top right holding the screen and phone together. You will see labels 1 and 2 on bright orange stickers on these flaps. Lift these flaps with your wedging tool. (Note: The #2 sticker on the phone used in this tutorial fell off.)
6.Look for a third sticker
under the  flap. This one is a little different from the other two. You will need to lift the black "clamp" to release the #3 connection. Once the clamp is lifted, the screen will be free from the rest of the iPhone, simply pull it out.
7.Remove 6 more screws. There are 5 screws on the side rails: 3 on the side with the flaps and 2 on the other side. The 6th screw is in the top right. All 6 of these screws are the same, so you don't need to worry about keeping track of which went where. There is black tape over some of the screws in this step. The black tape is not needed, so you can use your razor blade to cut off the tape covering each screw head.
8.Start reassembling your iPhone. Put the LCD and glass back together. There are two ways the screen can go and only one is correct. On one side, the rail is longer than the other, so that's a quick way to match it. You may find it easier to slide the LCD in from the bottom so the little clamp slides on nicely.

Guide proper care for a lithium battery

BatteryCare Helps You Get More Juice out of Notebook Batteries
http://www.wholesaleeshop.com.au

Rechargeable batteries are a mystery, losing their maximum capacity quickly and without any clear cause. It doesn't help that different devices use different types of batteries, each with their own quirks for proper charging. BatteryCare (free) helps you optimize the lithium batteries which almost all laptop PCs use.

The most important thing to know about laptop batterymaintenance is that partial discharges and charges are much better for the battery's life than complete drains. The problem with charging so frequently is that it throws off the calibration for Windows's battery level reading. Then your battery may read empty when power still remains, or force your PC to shut down without warning even when Windows reports power is left. BatteryCare's main purpose is to alert you when a calibration is needed.
By default, BatteryCare recommends a calibration after the battery's capacity is used 30 times. Unfortunately, the program can't perform the calibration itself. Some laptops have BIOS programs for the task, but otherwise you must do it manually, as outlined in the supplemental guide. It is a long process (around 15 hours, although you may be able to cut down the 7 hours of recommended idle time) which involves completely draining and charging the battery.
In addition to the calibration notification feature, BatteryCare provides detailed statistics on your battery, including total capacity, current capacity, wear, and CPU temperature (excessive heat can be damaging). For Vista, there are also settings to reduce power usage by disabling Aero and unnecessary background services when running from the battery.
For those who don't know about proper care for a lithium battery, the written guide may be more useful than the program itself. That said, although no individual feature is particularly groundbreaking, the combination makes BatteryCare a convenient program which will help you get the most out of your laptop battery.

    Notebooks Maybe replaced by Tablets

Notebooks Maybe replaced by Tablets  in 2011
    - http://www.wholesaleeshop.com.au
We have been talking about the impact of tablets on the laptop market with netbooks taking the biggest impact. Since netbooks have a physical keyboard, one might argue that tablets, by not having one, would be less valuable to business people. While tablets do have bluetooth connectivity, you could use a bluetooth keyboard to improve your entry speed. The trends are continuing for existing laptop users to be taking a serious look at tablets to determine if they are a replacement for their existing notebook. Two reports have come out this week which seem to support the trends that we are talking about.

    ipad - wholesaleeshop.com.au

A new ChangeWave report, as reported by Apple Insider, shows that corporations  are moving towards increasing tablet  devices, which would result in a decrease in  notebooks purchases. ChangeWave has great  resources for finding out what things are  looking like for businesses in the coming  months. In their latest report, they are  reporting that iPad satisfaction in businesses  is very strong.
    • iPad – 69% very satisfied
    • HP Tablet – 23% very satisfied
    • Dell – 12% very satisfied
    • Apple iPad – 78%
    • Dell – 9%
    • RIM/Blackberry – 9%
    • HP – 8%
    • Samsung – 4%
With those kinds of numbers, the iPad should have a great year in 2011 for business purchases. With the iPad having a proven track record, business are showing 7% tablet usage currently and for the 1st quarter of 2011 they are projecting 14% tablet usage in the businesses. That is a great jump and indicates that notebooks will be having a reducing role. Projections for which device they will be looking at purchasing tablets in the 1st quarter from the ChangeWave report are:

    Acer 4551G(N832G32Mn) Laptop - wholesaleeshop.com.au

The numbers overwhelmingly favor Apple’s iPad and with the iPad 2 expected to be out in April, 2011, they will easily continue that trend in the 2nd quarter of 2011. Obviously, businesses are not taking a serious look at the competition in near term tablet purchases. The fact remains that they are planning on doubling the number of tablets in the organization.
In another report from All Things Digital, an analyst at Goldman Sachs, Bill Shope, is reporting that tablets will “cannibalize” notebook sales in 2011 and 2012. If tablets did not take notebook sales, the estimate is growth of 11.4% for 2011 and 9.5% in 2012. Tablets will replace notebook sales at a rate of 35% in 2011 and 33% in 2012. Those are staggering numbers and spell big problems for manufacturers who do not have current plans to release a tablet in the 1st quarter of 2011.

Top 6 tips to prolong Dell  Laptop Battery life
    http://www.wholesaleeshop.com.au

To maximize Dell Laptop Battery, as recommended by Dell, battery blog suggestion:
    1. Break in your new battery properly
New Pavilion DV5000 Batteries are still fully charged when sold. They have to be by bike or conditioned the first to get its optimum capacity. Loading and unloading of the battery up to 4 or 5 times is enough to determine it.

    2. Preventing the memory effect
The memory effect can totally avoid fully charge and discharge HP Pavilion dv7 Battery twice a month.
    3. Cleaning the battery always
Dirt on the Dell inspiron 6400 battery contacts can decrease the performance of Dell notebook battery. Cleaning with alcohol and cotton can make it look and work as good as new.
    4. Exercise regularly battery
This is recommended for those using the AC adapter for longer period of time. We recommend using the Dell Presario CQ70 battery at least once in two weeks apart. Batteries lose their charge when stored for a long time and you have to break in the battery when this happens.
    5. The battery properly store
When not in use for a long time, the Dell vostro 1510 battery should be stored in a clean, dry and cool to be free from heat and other metals. A loss of the battery stores its load time and needs a break before reuse.
    6. Optimization of portable power management features
The power management features of the Dell xps m1330 battery allow the conservation of energy in the Dell laptop battery. You can set lower speed processor or you can set the brightness of the LCD at its minimum level to ensure low power consumption.
