We had a chance to see just about any tablet based on Nvidia’s Tegra 2 chip, and so far we can tell you that Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 is the best Android tablet we've seen so far.
It is the lightest and thinnest and it feels right in your hands, but we might be slightly bother with the plastic back cover painted in white, aluminium would definitely be better. This plastic cover keeps it just slightly under 600 grams, and with 595 grams (1.3 pounds) making it the lightest and thinnest Android tablet to date.
Asus Transformer is definitely a great alternative, we do like the fact that it uses aluminium for the back cover and it feels quite good in hand. It feels more robust and a friend of ours dropped it without breaking, leaving a scratch on the aluminium, but it was still in one peace. The keyboard dock is a great option for the Transformer, but spending 150 euro or dollars for a keyboard with an extra battery sounds way too steep.

Aluminium makes it slightly thicker and heavier, 680 grams, but Asus is quite widely available while Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 can easily be found in US, but the EU market is still holding its breath to see it in etail / retail.
Tegra 2 tablets are the only good alternative to iPad 2 and we can say that if you like Android applications and eco system, they look like a decent alternative to people who can’t stand Apple or iTunes.
We’ve seen quite a few of them but here is the quick verdict, Motorola Xoom is too heavy, was and still is too expensive, Toshiba tablet is ok but not great, Acer Iconia Tab A500 , Packard Bell are good but Samsung and Asus look better, Dell streak is ok if you like the 7-inch format.At least there are quite a few to pick from, all powered with Android 3.0 or 3.1 depending on the model.
