What colours wedding dresses suit you

White wedding dresses have been the tradition since the 16th Century, and were popularised by Queen Victoria, who chose white over silver for her wedding dress, which was the norm for Royal brides. Before that, brides simply wore their very best dress, in the colour of their choice. White is meant to symbolise purity, though there are almost endless variations of ‘off-white’ colours such as ivory, cream and buttermilk.
